CCBS is looking for a potential candidate to fill the vacancy for: Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) Operator
The WWTP Operator is responsible for operating the wastewater treatment plant processes. This role ensures compliance with environmental and company standards, monitors plant performance, and maintains equipment to ensure efficient and uninterrupted operations.

Key Responsibilities:

The WWTP Operator will operate the wastewater treatment plant in accordance with biological treatment procedures, ensuring smooth and efficient processes. They will perform periodic water quality tests to verify compliance with required parameters and maintain accurate documentation of results. The operator is responsible for calibrating testing and monitoring equipment to guarantee precise measurements and submitting necessary reports to the Quality Assurance Manager.
In addition to monitoring the flow of water through the treatment systems, the operator will ensure the proper maintenance of all equipment, (panels, pumps, filters, and water flow mechanisms). They will identify and address potential issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain plant efficiency. The operator will manage the handling and dosing of chemicals into respective tanks according to the required quantities, following strict safety protocols and maintaining records of chemical usage.
The WWTP Operator must adhere to all safety procedures, ensuring a secure work environment and promptly responding to emergencies such as equipment malfunctions or non-compliance incidents. They will contribute to process improvement initiatives, supporting the implementation of new procedures or technologies to enhance plant efficiency and sustainability.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will hold a degree in environmental science, water treatment, or a related field being preferred. Previous experience in wastewater treatment operations is an advantage. The candidate must have a basic understanding of biological treatment processes and the ability to follow procedures with precision. Good communication and teamwork skills, as well as the ability to work in an industrial environment.
This is a full-time position. The WWTP Operator plays a vital role in ensuring the plant meets environmental and operational standards while contributing to the overall efficiency and sustainability of the facility
