We are seeking to welcome a qualified Recovery Unit Team Leader (Band 4) to join our Retail Recovery Department reporting directly to the Department Manager.
Overall Job Definition
The Recovery Unit Team Leader monitors and instructs over legal actions of workout cases that are managed by internal or outsourced associates’ lawyers (payment orders, injunctions, forced liens, foreclosures etc.).
Main Responsibilities
Leads, mentors and motivates team members to achieve their highest potential
Sets clear goals and performance expectations for team members
Monitors team performance and implements strategies for improvements
Drafts, delivers and monitors out of court formal notices and complaint
Monitors mortgage loans retail auctions (good loans, temporary arrears or workouts)
Proposes solutions to problems that may arise during daily work processes
Manages Retail NPL customers that are in post court, bailiff status, assisting in the development of timely workout actions plans
Responsible for following up the action plans to ensure effectiveness, evaluating bank collateral position and documentation.
Negotiates payment arrangement, restructuring, repossessing the property and write off
Proposes application regarding recovering of the client and reflection of approved strategy by executing it in the system.
Proposes strategy for every client by analyzing property marketability, coverage ratio, revenues etc.
Performs phone calls to clients.
Prepares Reports on restructured files monthly
Onboards new team members and provides necessary training to ensure a smooth transition.
Performs any other duty that is delegated to the employee by the supervisor within his/ her area of responsibility.
Competencies / Skills:
1st Level master’s degree in economics related fieldsMinimum 2 years as Personal banker or other position related to client’s financing.Good Organizational skillsHas Team work & Collaboration skillsVery good knowledge of English written and spokenVery good knowledge of P/C (Excel, MS Word)Orientation to Improvement & Development.Problem Solving skillsAbility to work under tight deadlinesVery good writing and presentation skills
