Supply Chain Planner - Job Opportunity Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for optimizing supply chain processes? We are currently seeking a Supply Chain Planner to join our team and play a crucial role in managing our inventory, production planning, and logistics operations. Key Responsibilities: - Collect, organize, and analyse order, production, and inventory data (stock management). - Develop weekly production plans within the framework of established forecasts and a 3-month production schedule. - Place orders for various components based on the 3-month forecast and proactively respond to any changes. - Schedule customer orders on a weekly basis, considering lead times, available inventory, production capacity, and storage capacity. - Collaborate with production/operations teams to discuss and adjust production plans as needed in coordination with management. - Monitor the progress of planning activities and make necessary adjustments. - Coordinate transportation to our customers using available transportation options. - Communicate, collaborate, and coordinate with internal departments and logistics service providers. - Maintain contact with the primary buyers of our key accounts regarding forecast updates, planning, and potential issue resolution. - Prepare customs and transportation documents and verify documents prepared by external customs agents. - Continuously optimize and enhance supply chain processes. - Perform various administrative tasks, including generating and analysing reports, providing management information, generating and sending invoices, and requesting price quotes from logistics service providers. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related fields. - Proven experience in supply chain planning and logistics management. - Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data. - Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities. - Effective communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams and external partners. - Proficiency in relevant software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, Excel). - Knowledge of customs and transportation regulations is a plus. - Continuous improvement mind-set and a drive to optimize processes. - Attention to detail and a commitment to meeting deadlines.
