Job Position: System Quality Engineer

Purpose of the job position:
Ensuring that the IATF and SWS requirements are met at every stage of the production process in cooperation with other departments of the Company.
Raising the skills and awareness of the Company’s employees and staff through the team creation of new solutions

Organizational structure of the unit: Quality Department

Reports to: Head of Department

Duties and Responsibilities:

Oversee effective implementation of the Quality Management System throughout the company, SEWS-CA.
Maintain the Quality Manuals and Quality Procedures and ensure contents are appropriate for business.
Analyse current and future procedural needs of the company.
Organise and manage the plant internal audit system and the corrective action reporting system.
Conduct Quality Process audits in compliance with IATF/ SWS rules and standards and assist in training/guidance to other auditors.
Collate quality data for monitoring targets.
Assist with training of quality awareness within organisation chain.
Report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in order to adhere to process and prevent occurrence of any non-conformity relating to product, process or system.
Working/ perform the root cause analyses/ KAIZEN tools for non conformity management related to process/ product/ system.
Promote the use of Customer Requirements techniques for continuous improvement such as, Poka-Yoke (Error Proofing), and Measurement System Analysis.
Keep up with current and developing manufacturing and engineering trends that concern product quality.
Quality control of work by appropriate reviews.
Support and lead process improvement activities introducing in the other department concerned.
Attend / organise various meetings and action/communicate instructions/ training for the system IATF/ SWS standards.
Undertake continuous training and development other activities resulting from the current needs of the Quality Department.

Competences – knowledge and skills.

Educational background
Preferable degree in engineering or related technical field.

Special Knowledge:

Knowledge of products and customer requirements in the automotive industry.
Excellent knowledge of the ISO 9001/ IATF 16949: 2016 standard and the QMS in force in our company.
Knowledge of qualitative tools: data collection and selection, 5x analysis of why, problem solving, SPC, PDCA, FMEA.
Basic knowledge of the MRP system at the Plant (SIGIP).
Lean Manufacturing knowledge
Understanding of engineering drawings and manufacturing processes

Min. 3 years of work in a large company in the Quality Department, Technical or Production (automotive industry preferred) in various positions.
Knowledge of production processes in the Company.
Experience in working in a decision-making position.
Personnel management for at least 2 years.
Foreign language skills
– English and / optional Italian at advance level in written/ speaking/ understanding.
