Our partner Travel Europe is hiring a Destination Agent. PURPOSE OF THE ROLE: By completing tasks under supervision in a high-quality, timely and process-oriented manner, making a measurable contribution to the implementation of company goals and strategy. REQUIRED SKILLS: Preferred training: Commercial-tourism or linguistic (technical) school education (GCE, diploma) or university / university of applied sciences Professional training / certification Languages (TOEFL, DELF, etc.) Training in service, purchasing and sales management Personal skills: Good business understanding & Customer Focus Strong learning agility; ability to adapt to rapidly changing requirements Strong teamwork and communication skills Intercultural skills High self-motivation High focus on results, goals, action and self-motivation Hands-on mentality Solution-oriented, self-reliant mode of operation Professional experience: Entry possible without professional experience or lateral entry with professional experience in other sectors; Professional sector experience in a comparable position or purchasing / sales experience preferably in tourism desirable; IT & Techn. skills: Good MS Office 365 knowledge Very good knowledge of in-house ERP system (Tiho) Booking plan Language skills: Local Language, C2 English, C1 Additionally depending on destination: French, Spanish, Italian, German, B1-C1 advantageous MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITY Know-How of own destination (customers, hotels, competitors) Monitoring of local market (trends, eye on competition) Implementation of the specified goals and tasks DT-Leadership Team + Director of Affiliates Contribution to ensuring and optimizing daily processes (in coordination with other teams) Operational contact (customer service) for customers and hotels Ensure brand visibility within destination MAIN TASKS AND ACTIVITIES Close cooperation with Destination Team and HQ Stans Master data maintenance (rates / opening hours / contact details e.g.) Reservation’s Management Museums / local attractions: timings / PAX no / prepayments (if requested) Guides (Tour Managers): timings / program / advance payments + documentation’s handover Restaurants: timings / PAX no / Menus / special requirements Coaches: timings / program / contact details Hotels: Rooming Lists / Menus / special requirements Order processing (dossier control, voucher printing) Advance payments control (Tour Managers)Management of optional / facultative excursions Emergency control / Quality Control Support Service - Purchasing Hotels: Suggestions of new solutions Connecting Link HQ Stans and local partners (incl. participation in meetings with hotel clients) Proactive reporting of market trends (risks, tendances, urgent actions to be taken) Support Service - Sales: New ideas creation (alternatives to existing programs (incl. direct client contact for a la carte programs.) Offer control (before sending to client) Analysis of clients’ feedback and Complaints Management (in collaboration with DT-members) Customer service & direct client contact (tailoring program to meet customer’s expectations) Participation in study tours Support Service – Accounting: Invoice Control Problems Solving (missing payments, overpayments, deductions e.g.) To apply for this position, send your CV to the company via email: Office.tirana@traveleurope.cc
